WARRANTY:  Medical alert bracelets, medical alert anklets, interchangeable bracelet strands, interchangeable anklet strands and beaded earrings have a 90-day warranty for materials and workmanship. We will resolve any problems within this three-month period at no cost as long as the maintenance and care instructions posted on this Web site and enclosed with each order are reasonably followed. This warranty is VOID should medical alert jewelry, interchangeable bracelet strands, interchangeable anklet strands or beaded earrings be received by us in an abused or unusually damaged condition, including water damage. After the warranty period, should the need arise, we will repair medical jewelry, resize medical jewelry, replace components and perform general maintenance throughout your ownership of the medical jewelry. Our fees for these services vary depending upon what needs to be done, but is always performed at "cost."
 

  

Medical alert tags and medical alert charms are guaranteed for life, notwithstanding normal wear and tear.

 

Medical alert tags and medical alert charms are engraved with personal information and cannot be returned. In the rare event the engraver makes an error on the medical alert tag or medical alert charm, we will replace it at no cost.  In order to replace a medical alert tag or medical alert charm, it must be returned to us, along with the warranty.

 

A warranty for the medic alert tag or medic alert charm is enclosed with each order.  Please read it and store it in a safe location should you need to replace the medical tag or medical charm. The engraver requires that the warranty be submitted to replace the medical tag or medical charm at a discounted "replacement" cost or free (material failure).   

 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS: With the exception of medical alert tags, medical alert charms and beaded earrings, if you are not satisfied with your medical alert bracelet, you may return the bracelet portion only for a partial refund, less credit card fees for the initial transaction, a new refund fee charged by our credit card payment gateway, and shipping and handling costs, within SEVEN (7) days after your receipt of the medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet. REFUNDS ONLY; NO EXCHANGES. Unused medical alert jewelry shall be returned to us in the manner outlined below.

CHARGEBACKS:  Chargebacks are illegal once merchandise is shipped to a customer. Alert Medical Bracelets is a subsidiary of our primary corporation, Body Illuminations.  Body Illuminations is the registered corporation with our credit card gateway and PayPal.  Accordingly, Body Illuminations is the vendor name that appears on credit card statements and PayPal accounts.  We notify all customers of this fact in our shipping notices.  In addition, we note on our home page and packing invoices that Alert Medical Bracelets is a subsidiary of Body Illuminations.  Should a customer file a chargeback with their credit card company, for any reason whatsoever, without contacting us, we are fully prepared to contest the chargeback, whether an innocent mistake or a malicious act.  We are charged a $30.00 fee by the credit card gateway to dispute chargebacks. CUSTOMERS WHO ISSUE CHARGEBACKS WILL BE CHARGED $30.00 TO RECOVER THE CHARGEBACK FEE. 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: THE ORDER IN WHICH MEDICAL INFORMATION IS ENGRAVED ON A MEDICAL ALERT TAG OR MEDICAL ALERT CHARM IS NOT PARAMOUNT. IN MOST CASES, INFORMATION IS ENGRAVED EXACTLY AS REQUESTED BY THE CUSTOMER, BUT THERE ARE TIMES WHEN THE ENGRAVER MUST USE ITS DISCRETION AS TO THE PLACEMENT OF ENGRAVING ON THE MEDICAL ALERT TAG OR MEDICAL ALERT CHARM. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF MEDICAL ALERT TAGS OR MEDICAL ALERT CHARMS BECAUSE THE ENGRAVING IS NOT IN A PARTICULAR ORDER OR IF ALL ENGRAVING CANNOT FIT ON THE MEDICAL ALERT TAG OR MEDICAL ALERT CHARM.  THE ENGRAVER DOES NOT NOTIFY ALERT MEDICAL BRACELETS IF ANY CHANGES IN THE ENGRAVING ARE MADE AND, THEREFORE, ALERT MEDICAL BRACELETS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENGRAVER’S DECISIONS.

 

 

Medical alert jewelry shall be returned in protective packaging via insured first-class mail with delivery confirmation. After  placing the medical jewelry in the mail, please send us an E-MAIL and provide the delivery confirmation number and insurance receipt number.  Insuring the package and purchasing delivery confirmation protects both the customer and Alert Medical Bracelets.  Failure to follow this procedure may result in no refund.

 

 

Refunds are issued upon our receipt and inspection of the returned medical alert jewelry. Medical jewelry must be received by us in the same flawless condition as it was shipped to you. If we receive used, abused or damaged medical alert jewelry, no refund will be issued.
