At Alert Medical Bracelets, the price you see is the price you pay for a medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet. All medical alert bracelets and medical alert anklets include one FREE engraved medical alert tag OR one FREE medical alert charm! Most medical alert jewelry stores require the customer to "build" their medical alert bracelets. For example, the customer selects a bracelet at a certain price, then adds a medical alert tag or medical alert charm for an additional price, and engraving is charged either by line or by character.
GUIDELINES FOR ORDERING A MEDICAL ALERT BRACELET OR MEDICAL ALERT ANKLET:
On the menu on the right side of the HOME page, click on either "Silver Medical Bracelets and Anklets" or "Gold Medical Bracelets and Anklets". Click on the title of the medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet to view a larger photo, select a size and read the "Product Overview" which indicates the materials used to design the medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet. The "Product Overview" also may contain close-up photos and instructions to order a medical alert tag or medical alert charm.
Select a size per the SIZING GUIDELINES. Do not guestimate the size. If a customer submits an incorrect size and wants the medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet resized, we charge a $20.00 resizing fee to cover the costs for extra materials and postage. If Alert Medical Bracelets incorrectly sizes medical jewelry, there is no charge for re-sizing.

Medical alert tags and medical alert charms included with a medical alert bracelet or medical alert anklet are denoted as "FREE MEDICAL TAG ... WITH PURCHASE OF ... MEDICAL BRACELET OR ANKLET". Read the "Product Overview" which provides the dimensions of the medical alert tag or medical alert charm, the number of lines that can be engraved on the front and back of the medical alert tag (or back of a medical alert charm) and the maximum number of characters per line.
Choose any medical alert tag or medical alert charm of your choice. Customers do not have to purchase the same medical alert tag or medical alert charm displayed in the photos with the medical alert bracelets and medical alert anklets.
Select a caduceus medical emblem which are available in raised round red, raised round light blue, raised round pink, raised round lavender, engraved on the medical alert tag or engraved on the medical alert tag with red fill. The double helping hearts caduceus emblem is also available for an additional $5.00.
Although all medical alert tags and medical alert charms have a nice shiny finish, the engraver offers a "high-polished" finish for an additional $7.00.
Complete the engraving template. Do not omit spaces and punctuation as these are characters. Also, avoid abbreviations that are not common in the medical industry. Proofread engraving carefully for any errors. Once the medical alert tag or medical alert charm is engraved, it cannot be corrected. A new medical alert tag or medical alert charm must be purchased at the engraver’s wholesale price.
UPGRADED MEDICAL ALERT TAGS AND MEDICAL ALERT CHARMS:
Customers upgrading to sterling silver medical alert tags, sterling silver medical alert charms or Black Hills gold medical alert tags are receiving a discounted price on these items equal to the cost of a free stainless steel medical alert tag, free stainless steel medical alert charm, free 10K gold-filled medical alert tag and free 10K gold-filled medical alert charm. The upgraded medical alert tags and medical alert charms are currently priced at the discounted rate.

Interchangeable bracelet strands and interchangeable anklet strands are optional, additional bracelets and anklets which provide customers the opportunity to own a wardrobe of one-of-a-kind, lovely bracelets to attach to their medical alert tags or medical alert charms. Interchangeable bracelets are priced less than medical alert bracelets and medical alert anklets and, accordingly, do not include medical alert tags or medical alert charms, free or upgraded.
NOTE: Medical alert charms for medical anklets are not interchangeable because the charm hangs too low and can get caught under the heel of your foot. However, the majority of our clients order a medical alert tag for their medical anklets, which is a sharp accessory.
The order in which medical information appears on a medical alert tag or medical alert charm is not crucial. What is important is that all the medical information appears in a clear and readable format so emergency personnel do not have to struggle to read it. 99.9 percent of the time medical information is engraved exactly as requested by the client. However, the engraver reserves its right and experience to place the engraving in a clear and readable format. We do not accept returns of medical alert tags or medical alert charms if the engraving doesn’t appear in a particular order.
